Akram Osman is
born in 1937 in Herat - Afghanistan.
He has his PhD from the
Faculty of Law and Political Science at
Tehran University.
He has worked, for years, as
narrator
and writer of several social –
cultural programs in Afghanistan's Radio and
Television. He has been head of the Art and Literature department at Radio
Afghanistan for some period.
Dr. Akram Osman,
member of Afghanistan Science Academy and had
been in charge of the History and Law Institutes at
this organization.
He has served as president of Afghanistan's Writers
Association too.
His late appointments were in the
Ministry of External Affair. Dr A. Osman has worked as Afghan Council in
Dushanbeh capital of Tajikistan, and Afghan charge d’affair in Afghan
Embassy in Tehran.
Since 1992 he is living in Sweden.
Dr. Akram Osman is head of
Afghans’ Pen Club in Stockholm – Sweden and the magazine Farda is
published, in Stockholm, under his supervision.
